Kalani's - South Lake Tahoe

Our server was attentive and provided excellent recommendations. All the cocktails were delightful. We were advised to try the crab cakes as an appetizer, and they were fantastic. The ribeye was perfectly seasoned and cooked just how we wanted, and the mixed seafood grill had an impressive variety that any seafood lover would enjoy. The next time we're in the area, this restaurant will definitely be at the top of our list to visit again.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday this past Monday. The atmosphere is very welcoming, though it can get quite loud when it's busy, making conversation a bit tough. The seating is a bit close, but it's not too uncomfortable. The food and service were fantastic! The drinks had a good strength, which is always a bonus. While it is on the pricier side, I believe it's worth it. To my surprise, they gave me a complimentary slice of their guava cheesecake to celebrate my birthday! I will definitely be returning!

The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. They even surprised me with a complimentary chocolate cake for my birthday dinner. I would have given them five stars, but the noise level really detracted from the experience. For a high-end steakhouse, it was just as loud, if not louder, than a typical Chinese restaurant. On June 4, 2021, two tables of rowdy, intoxicated women were excessively disruptive, shouting and screaming as they left. It was disappointing that management allowed this behavior to go unchecked.
