Contribute FeedbackNo. 8 in Dartmouth offers a mixed experience, with some patrons enjoying the quality of food and service, while others found it lacking. The selection of pizzas, burgers, and other dishes received mixed reviews, with some highlighting the freshness of the tapas and sandwiches, while others were less impressed by the quality and value for money. The ambiance and friendliness of the staff were generally praised, with an emphasis on the attention to detail. Issues with slow service, warm drinks, and subpar food quality were noted in some instances. Overall, No. 8 offers a decent dining experience with room for improvement.
I couldn't believe the rudeness of the owner towards a family who walked in with a pushchair and a sleeping wk old baby for an early lunch last week. They were told children are not welcome there is a sign on the door you should have read before coming in. As a family business they have a very poor reputation around Dartmouth and Totes as rude, arrogant and unhelpful. I wouldn't walk through the door if I was paid. They neither welcome residents or visitors which in such a seasonal town is paramount for survival. They bring nothing to our special community whereas most of the local independent restaurants, galleries, cafes, shops in Dartmouth Totnes do bring a welcome ambience making these towns special enjoyable to visit.
Agreat place to eat, We stopped for coffee and liked the place straight away, the ambience was good and the staff so polite and attentive (so unusual these days). We mooched around Dartmouth for a few hours looking into every eating place scouting for lunch. We had to go back to No and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the attention to detail remarkable. Leaf tea, every type of salad dressing, real clean towels in the bathroom, it all added up to a very nice lunch, pity We had to head off home and could not stop for the evening menu. We will return for that treat, and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Lovely friendly staff, excellent service, super food and drinks. Good variety, reasonable prices and attention to detail excellent. [And REAL towels in the loos!!!
Two crab sandwiches an salat and a vegetarian option plus two tees a coffee and a small beer were all very common farewell in this exceptionally attractive city and not justified the price we have worked better at similar places
Decor, ambiente and service was great. the kneipe was full when we arrived, but the beautiful owners let us welcome and impressed us. The live music was great and we all (three of us) agreed, we had no such pleasant evening for. a very long time.
