Service and food were great. We walked in and it felt like home. Our server was so friendly and our food came out delicious even the chef came out to make sure we were enjoying our meal! What Kelly Verhoeven doesn't like about Rockaway Cafe:
We were down for 3rd season elk hunting. The first night we showed up, they were closed. I called the number on their site and the guy that answered sounded drunk and in the background it sounded like they were having a party. He told me they were closed and would be open on Wednesday night. No problem. 4 nights later we drove over for dinner on the night they stated they would be open and closed again. I again call... Well to start I called them and asked what time they close.
I got the spaghetti. the noddels were way over cooked . about a hour after I got back to my camper I threw up and it continued all night . would not recommend.
We stay in South Fork for extended periods each year and always visit most of the restaurants.
Awesome chicken parmesan!! Excellent service!!!.. friendly environment!!! Have a drink or two while you wait for a FRESH yummy meal ..,Owner and chef came to greet us to made sure we were happy .. we absolutely were!! Will go to this sweet and quaint restaurant again and again every time we hit Southfork!!!! Thank you Rockaway!!!
