What User likes about The Ickleton Lion:
this pub was consistently a great place to go and visit for a breakfast lunchtime. the new owners and employees maintain this tradition. I will be back in any case! View all feedback. What Catherine Clark doesn't like about The Ickleton Lion:
Worst pub. Such a shame as it was once fabulous. its a mess, not good service. Garden covered in dog poo because landlord is clearly lazy in his running, loos haggered, glasses uncollected. Dogs that have been running around in garden are then left to roam the kitchen during lunch service. Very expensive round of drinks in dirty glasses. Not going to give this place a second chance. Fantastic meal, excellent service from a very cheerful waitress and the landlord very attentive and exceptionally hard working! Highly recommend :
Gorgeous roast dinner, great atmosphere, very nice pub
Lamb shank was delicious and the gravy it came with was so tasty. Think it was a special but defiantly should be regular on menu!!
Excellent local pub, great food and rare to have such a dog friendly attitude. Loved it!
One of the best local village pubs left in the area. Great to have a dog friendly pub around too.
