Excellent, friendly service. Very basic, bland food. Wetherspoons quality. Not what I would hope to have on a rare meal out. Might as well get an Iceland frozen meal on the way home. Cut the menu by half and keep the things that are home made and let chef enjoy experimenting making these yummy. Nice place for a drink. Very friendly Food: 2 View all feedback.
Though it was a very sombre occasion celebrating Clive's wake, the atmosphere was excellent as always. Clive was busy trying to empty the Guinness barrel, and doing quite a good job of it.

A first-class pub with a lot of atmosphere and charm. really friendly owners and employees who work hard to make every visit pleasant. beautiful people, cheap drinks, warm fire in winter, lots of space for warmer days. tw for important sporting events (but not intrusive) and a varied menu that is not expensive. the fresh fish and chips of the Friday night are simply delicious and russell offers a delivery service for the local oaps.
I am in the states and think every day about when I again eat the hoops for the people (amy, tracey, russell, dave, michaela, becky, etc., and of course the kronenbourg! it won't take long!
Had a fab day at the hoops yesterday with the family couldn't ask for better service food amazing I highly recommend
