What PB doesn't like about The Chequers Public House:
This restaurant was very mediocre. The vegetable tempura needed salt before frying and there was not enough sauce. The duck salad was dry and the pulled pork croquettes needed more mayo. The yellow Thai curry also lacked sauce. However, the service was good. View all feedback.
Excellent food, polite friendly and quick service, and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommended.
It's an OK pub, it shut at 8.30pm last visit due to no staff!
Delicious food and excellent service. We had starters, main courses and dessert and all were very tasty, well presented, and obviously freshly cooked hot. Our waitresses were lovely; kind and helpful and very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. Well done The Chequers; we'll be back!

Lovely pub in Orwell. Had been to wimpole Hall and pub nearby. Great food and service. Limited menu. Dogs welcome
