We made a point of trying a new pub every month ad this was my choice in March ... driven past it and looks a good spot. It makes a point I think of being good value and for locals .... its not a gastro-pub , and as such if you are looking for that 'something extra ' it may not be the place for you. Best pub for many miles. a real, traditional English pub that sells a series of good beer and traditional English pub foods such as curry and fish and chips.

Charming pub with great selection of ales. Barman was a star, couldn't have been more helpful when we had a bike tyre puncture.
Superb trad pub, such a friendly welcome, and lots of guitars and musicians. Loved it!
