We visited at c 1pm, to find a busy cafe. We ordered two of the daily specials pasta bake and roast lamb. The lady explained that they had run out of roast potatoes, but it was still a good plateful meat, mash and fresh veg. The pasta bake came with salad or garlic bread was also good. Great value and friendly staff. Free parking on the road outside and a car park to the rear. View all feedback.
Unless you are a local, you probably wouldn't know about this café. I discovered it by chance after seeing a flyer at Budgens on the high street and having some free time to spare. Located at the far end of town near the free church, the café is situated in a hall area at the back. Although the signage is not great, it is easy to find once you have been there before. The café is clean, bright, and has plenty of tables. Customers place their orders at the counter and their hot food is then brought to their table. The prices are reasonable and the menu offers a variety of standard food options. I particularly enjoyed the option to create my own breakfast by choosing the items I like. The service is quick and friendly. If I ever find myself in Sawston again, I would happily return to this café. I highly recommend it.
This café, located inside Sawston Free Church, employs disabled and disadvantaged individuals to help train them. They serve delicious freshly made food for breakfast and lunch, closing in the mid-afternoon. Prices are fair and there are usually tables available both indoors and outdoors. The café is easily accessible and offers free internet. Parking is also easy. Takeaway options are available as well.
The restaurant provides excellent service with polite and friendly staff in a great setting. Additionally, they continue to accept cash as a payment option, offering customers the flexibility to choose how they pay.
The restaurant, which was previously operated by the OWL organization in Sawston, is now run as Footprints Cafe. It is located at the back of the Free Church and has always been known for serving delicious and wholesome food. Before the pandemic, it was a popular spot among locals. The lockdowns have had a significant impact on their business, but they are up and running again. I recently visited for breakfast and sat outside on the charming and sheltered patio, away from the main road. The food was just as delicious as before.
This restaurant is clean and welcoming, with delicious food that offers great value for money. For only £3.80, you can enjoy a large bowl of top-quality soup with bread and butter. What's not to love?
