Common complaints include filthy toilets and unkempt dining areas, creating an overall uninviting atmosphere. While the staff's service received praise for being attentive and friendly, the food consistently disappointed, garnering low ratings. The setting appears in desperate need of maintenance, with dark, messy interiors and uneven surfaces outside contributing to a lackluster experience. For diners seeking a clean, enjoyable meal stop, this establishment may not meet expectations, prompting many to reconsider their choice in the future.
I stayed at the hotel next door, so this restaurant was the only nearby option for me. I have to say, the staff were excellent, on par with Greggs, but unfortunately, the food was a completely different story. It was not good at all, which was disappointing. Overall rating: Staff 10/10, Food 1/10.
This restaurant, apparently owned by the EG Group, has been stopped at before while traveling. However, this time we decided to skip it after seeing the lack of cleanliness and sanitization inside. It was clear that people were using the wooded areas as a toilet and there was a significant amount of litter scattered around. It's surprising that the local authorities have not shut it down, but then again, maybe not.
Awful. Nought stars if I could. Dirty (toilets and eating areas), slow, badly-handled by Burger King and Greggs, uneven surfaces outside, unkempt car park. Won't go near the place again.
Absolutely disgusting toilets. This venue is the perfect reason why gender neutral toilets are a terrible idea, 3 shared gender toilets which looked why fhey hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Rubbish bins inside the restaurant overflowing all over the floor and the car park was littered with it.
We stopped for dinner but NO WAY was I going to let my family eat ANYTHING! this place needs closing down or environmental health to get involved, the “toilets” were absolutely high bound I watched a Burger King member of staff go in to fill the loo roll came out and wiped his feet on the mat as they were soaked from the filth that was in there. I will NEVER EVER go back there again!
