The staff at this restaurant are warm and welcoming, and there is plenty of parking available. The prices are quite reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid-back. The decor features charming old-school wooden accents, and the walls are adorned with framed reproductions of Impressionist artwork. I enjoyed the boiled seafood, the Bloody Mary, and the vegan chocolate pudding. Everything was served in a timely manner, hot,... View all feedback.
What Daniel Palmer doesn't like about Pauline’s:
Wonderful experience all around, from cocktails/wine to dinner. Izzy provided excellent service, and we all felt welcome as family in this delightful restaurant. View all feedback.
We had several menu items yesterday all day at this establishment. The Corn Chowder was delicious. Crabcakes were very good. Pork schnitzel was over cooked. My wife and I shared a beet salad and the beets were flavorless. To our server about the above items and she simply stated the beets haven't been great and “I will let the chef know We have dined here several times in your past and, this time, left somewhat disappointed. We’ll probably not eat here again.
It's been a past since I enjoyed dinner at pauline. I stayed happy and full! our waitress, mitzie, was fantastic, attentive, friendly, personable. don't wait so long! the food was delicious!
Pauline’s had great critikens, but it was the photos of her kitchen that decided to review it. we were not disappointed. the staff is super friendly and the service was great! the filet was one of the best I ever had, and the crabcakes and shrimp apps were a. Pauline’s is a “hidden jewel”, as one of the employees said, and this is certainly not a lie.
Absolutely rock solid. I don’t know what I expected a French dinner cafe in Northern Vermont would be like but this is exactly it. Reminded me a lot of what in the Wisconsin North Woods they would call a “supper club,” but without the ever present Prime Rib. Yes, the food could have been prepared faster but the service was great and if you are complaining about the wait for your freshly made crab cakes please go back to the Applebee’s you normally frequent. Speaking of the crab cakes, cannot me missed!
Had a wonderful time at their Meet the Makers event with Mad River Distillers.
