What Marcel Miller doesn't like about The Three Monkeys:
This restaurant had rat bait in their front garden next to the tables at which were dining. The rat bait was not, as per regulations, in a container. Rather it was laying loose in the garden. Our dog ate this rat bait and needed immediate medical attention due to fatal toxicity of the poison used. The owner of the restaurant at the time kept saying that rat bait was not poisonous, would not provide the details of the... View all feedback. What FOODIEFORLIFE likes about The Three Monkeys:
The cakes are the best food in here. We came on a busy Saturday afternoon and ordered lasagna and barbecue sauce chicken and baked lime cheesecake. The lasagna sheets were a bit hard, in my opinion, could have cooked for slightly longer. The chicken was good, standardized dish. But the lime cheesecake was so good that we ordered carrot cake and tiramisu when we left. Again both of those cakes were a winner. View all feedback.

Nice coffee, an oasis-like retreat in atmosphere (try their courtyard out the back) and an interesting selection of cakes and cookies.

read moreThe Three Monkeys restaurant in Brisbane has a mixed bag of reviews. While some patrons love the desserts and cozy atmosphere, others have had negative experiences, including an incident with rat bait in the front garden that led to a pet emergency. Despite its nostalgic charm, some customers feel that the quality of service and food has declined over the years. However, others still enjoy the ambiance, chai tea, and variety of cakes the restaurant has to offer. Overall, it seems that The Three Monkeys evokes strong emotions from its customers, both positive and negative.
