What mrsamfar likes about The Plough Inn:
Right on the South Bank of the river Brisbane this dinner/pub has a lovely atmosphere. We were seated to our booked table very quickly. It has inside or outside dinning. It was a Monday night in July and not the warmest but the place had a chilled relaxed feel. Live music was playing in the corner hitting the right mood for the customers present. I thought you can’t get fish and chips wrong. Wrong. The fish was really oily and the batter very thick and the salad was just sad. But I did devour all the chips . Bit disappointed overall View all feedback.

read moreThe Plough Inn Hotel in Southbank offers a variety of delicious meals, but there are some mixed reviews on the overall experience. While the pork belly is juicy and the atmosphere is welcoming, there are complaints about the soggy slaw and the disappointing rib dish. Some customers were not impressed with the service, as they had to order at the counter and wait longer than expected for their meals. However, there are positive comments about the food quality, especially the steak, mussels, and chips. Overall, the venue offers a great location for a casual drink with friends but may not meet everyone's expectations in terms of dining experience.
