We had dinner at this place. The food was quite nice and the service was courteous and efficient. Unfortunately the pork dish (featured on their promotional photo) is no longer available and we were told that this has been the case for some time. We had a very good lunch and great coffee, excellent price. please we didn't go on for a steak. the menu had a lot of daily specialties.
We stayed in the accommodation and thought we would attach the restaurant montague to the resort. at other locations this restaurant was pale, but tonight it was unacceptable. we had the alleged ribbed eye fillet that I think he was raged. it was planned, med/rare, but was well done, salat was easy and chips were in order. my partner had the smallest tasteless Barramundi piece ever (light 100 grams) again salat was pathetic and chips were in order. what a waste of $50.00 to round it off, a dessert, brownie and ice cream that was not bad. close and the south bank is full of wonderful restaurant to make a walk.
The meals are quite generous and fresh. Continental breakfast available. I asked for variation to menu and they did a good job to meet my dietary choices.
Very rude service on 29/09 breakfast with older gentleman who doesn’t know how to speak to people. No excuse me, thank you or sorry. Created a argument with my wife wanting to close the restaurant but never let us know in advance that we needed...to leave. We also noticed him going off at another table because they got confused with the buffet and order service. I do not recommend coming here!
A wonderful hidden away Food Oasis and so close to Southbank. Food priced very reasonable and fresh. Wonderful smiling Staff who provide excellent service. Highly recommended!
