We ordered 4 plates to go on the drive thruTook a little than expected thinking maybe there making new chicken tenders or fries.We get home and come to find out the order was right, but the chicken was old,toughThe fries were old,stale.We've been here before and was good place to eat, but this time I don't recommend or maybe don't buy an hour or two before closing unless you want stale,dry,tough food. They took a good thing, changed the sauce, chicken finger breading and dredge, and fry oil. The toast isn’t even properly toasted. It’s definitely not the same Laynes we used to love.
This place is the place you go when it’s almost midnight and you haven’t gotten to eat all day and you need to DoorDash something late because you’re too lazy to get out of bed. Thanks laynes! Also it’s better than canes on door dash since I don’t get a delivery fee.
Terrible customer service. I came in to pick up a Door Dash order and the main cashier was sitting on the floor on his phone. As well as the other coworkers standing around aimlessly on their phones too. I did not receive a welcome, or them simply asking me for my order, instead he stared at me and waited for me to speak. Once I told him the name under my order he walked away and made me my drinks while the other worker put the meals together. After they both “served” me they IMMEDIATELY went back to standing and staring at their phones. No thank you, have a nice day or a single word from a soul in there. Management needs to get a hold on their employees, because I have NEVER walked into a restaurant or fast food industry and had to speak to the employees before I was spoken to!
