Visiting A president's library and museum should be on everyone's do list. There is so much history and insights to be learned. You are carried through George's life from school, meeting Barbara, war, politics, diplomacy, CIA, presidency, to retirement. There is not enough room to share the experience.I definitely recommend. This library is for Bush 41 (1989-1993). As of 2018, both 41 and Barbara are buried on site near the pond (their graves are open to the public even without buying a ticket).
I visited three presidential Libraries now, this was the most impressing but they still build a new wing to be opened in 2024. All were very friendly. Regular adults admission is 9 Dollar. The gift shop is a little overpriced but Barbara is taking care of it and finds nice words for everybody. She is there since the museum opened and knew the president and his wife in person. Interesting talking to her.Last but not least, a lot of good parking places available.
Im so thankful that I went here. He will go down as one of our best presidents.Everyone, regardless of party, should go here. He was a great man.
Beautiful museum and library that describes the life of George H W Bush right from his younger days to becoming President. The man played so many roles in life so there is a ton of memorabilia and history associated. The movie at the entrance is a must and describes how Bush 41 was a genuine soul and had endearing ideals. Very inspiring to learn more about him. His burial site is also nearby. Highly recommend visiting this place.
