Was Kelley Wintheiser at Bendix a mag?
Went there for the 1st time this morning as everything was very good. Been going out for breakfast on Sat for yrs as the food here is great the staff was friendly as waitress kept our coffee cups full. Going back next Sat morning for sure! Give this place a try View all feedback.

What Henriette Connelly dislikes about Bendix:
I have always loved coming here but my past experience was my last . I came here with two of my children we were sat quickly and drink fast as well. Then while waiting the server took 4 other tables orders and just walking past our table multiple times . 4other tables had drinks and food. Sat for over 35 minutes with nothing . We walked to register and just paid for our drinks . Worst experience I’ve ever had here View all feedback.

The restaurant does not treat black customers the same way they treat white or Latino customers. I ordered a meal with pancakes, and everything was brought out except syrup. An older white couple came in and were promptly served, with syrup brought out for their pancakes. It seems that this differential treatment is based on race. The cost for a half order of biscuits and gravy is $5.75, and there is a clear disparity in how white customers are treated compared to black customers. Despite the possibility for change, it seems unlikely that attitudes in the restaurant will improve.

Spacious neighborhood diner with friendly and attentive staff. Prices are reasonable considering the generous portion sizes.

This restaurant is consistently fantastic! The food is always freshly prepared, the service is top-notch, and the prices are great. I love the variety of American and Mexican options they have. I highly recommend this place to everyone, even though the exterior of the building might not look appealing, it is a hidden gem worth discovering!

Delicious weekends! Whether you choose to eat in or take out, the prices are reasonable and the menu offers a great variety of options. Norma is one of our favorite waiters!
