Green Bites Cafe - South Bascom Avenue

I wanted to try this place, and with respect for their efforts to offer healthy food, I gave him two stars. And the smoothies looked good. The food was terrible. I ordered a combination of green and chicken. They asked me if I wanted to warm it up, but since no dressing was offered, I was confused by the question. So I said yes. What I came back was a hot salad (hot salad, hot raw broccoli, etc.). The chicken was dry and wild. They offered me a hot sauce for the meat, but that didn't save it. I asked for an adjustment to the order, and they refused. So if you go here, skip the food and get a smoothie.

Turned off at the door because too many catering orders. Place completely empty....

I have tried maybe 7 different food prep companies around the bay and Green Bites is honestly the best. Delivery is convenient, meals are affordable and also really good quality meaning all vegetables are fresh and crisp, NOT soggy or old. The sauces are good, my fave are the chili and the steak sauce.

If you're looking for low calories or keto meal preps... this is the spot! I been coming here since 2018 for their fitness meals and occasionally Keto and house meals. Every time I need to lose a few pounds I would juice and eat Green Bites meals and I'll bounce right back to my original weight : The prices are a little higher than some other meal preps I tried but the quality is on point. I usually wait until they have some kind of promo for the fitness meals. They also offer delivery service for $10-$20 depending on your zip code.. which I only used once. Most of the time I'll order 10-15 meals and pick up the next day.
