The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the room was extremely comfortable with lots of character and nice little touches. I had an evening meal which was freshly cooked and was very well presented and tasted great, I'd definitely agree that the food here is the best in Tunisia!! I'd highly recommend staying here or just stopping by for a meal if you're in Hergla. Service: 5

I've been in Tunisia for less than 24 hours now and dinner at L'artisan just solidified my newfound love for this place for two reasons: 1) Delicious flavorful... read more I've been in Tunisia for less than 24 hours now and dinner at L'artisan just solidified my newfound love for this place for two reasons: 1) Delicious flavorful healthy foods 2) Super kind and friendly owners- I showed up on a Sunday night when they were closing down, but was told they could offer me something light, that they had limited options left for the evening, but promised I would eat very well. It was amazing for both the quality flavor of the food and the atmosphere kindness they provided. They brought out several small appetizers, a plate of tiny olives, slices of bread with various spreads and herbs, some little fried things I don't know the name of but I could eat a whole basket of them, a beautiful salad with vegetables and egg, a main course with chicken cooked right in front of me, and fresh fruit for dessert. Insanely good. Definitely recommend if you are lucky enough to be in Hergla.
