The customer service at this restaurant is absolutely terrible. I placed an order through Doordash and received the wrong items. When I called to request the correct order, the owner gaslit me. I was shocked at how uncooperative they were in fixing a simple mistake. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a score of 1.

Our food was beyond disappointing. The crab rangoon had barely anything inside of it, the moo shu chicken was all sauce (basically a soup), and the hot and sour soup had absolutely no flavor to it. This restaurant has been a staple in town for over 15 or 20 years, possibly even longer. I remember going to the karate school next door 15 years ago before it moved to a larger space. Many people used to frequent HK Chef and I never heard a single complaint. I finally tried it earlier this year and regret not going sooner. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the quality is consistent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Their plainer dishes are not overspiced, which some may consider a positive as you can add more spice at home if desired. Overall, I congratulate this business on their success.
