November… everyone seated in an area open to the sky. Patio heaters on low so our backs were chilly. Food wasn’t terrible but mediocre for the price. You’ll eat much better elsewhere. The garden here is delightful, with lemon trees providing shade. It would be a lovely spot for a light lunch on a hot day. View all feedback.
This is one of the best restaurants I've been to and had the most amazing food experience surrounded by their lovely lemon grove. I had to try their cannelloni pasta as they invented it and it was scrumptious. When life gives you lemons, you should not miss out on limoncello. First time we tried the limoncello spritz and it was so amazing that we had a shot as well, which gave quite the kick. And to top it off we had their desserts chocolate cake and Tiramisu, and the tiramisu was deeelicious.
Undoubtedly, an excellent ambiance and food was fine also with small portions. I get it. It is a tourist trap that I also get but but but : . We asked our waiter, where was the smoking area which he showed us with no issues. We left for a smoke and when we returned, our half eaten plates were gone. Next table, the Yankees who mostly get terrible service in the USA even seemed in shock with what they saw, we still decided to not say anything. The blonde got very angry but I calmed her down. My octopus dish was gone as her ravioli and the side dishes of stuffed papers and courgettes. We asked for a dessert and coffee and promised each other to not leave our table, not even to the bathroom while we having our dessert and coffees. What can get wrong right? Espresso and latte arrives with limon profiterol. The espresso cup was that dirty that I had to take a photo of it. Basically we paid 88 euros for half eaten food and dirty espresso cup . I will frame the dirty cup photo to make a disasterous memorable of O'Parrucchiano La Favorita that will echo from down under New Zealand. The photo is copyrighted by me and contact me if you wish to get a copy of it. I'll sign and email it to anyone interested :
Beautiful setting under the lemon trees. Came for lunch and was impressed with the pricing too, reasonable for the experience. Food was excellent and everyone had lots of compliments. The stuffed squash blossoms and seafood pasta were superb. Service was great and staff were friendly. Would love to come again and see the gardens in the evening! A really breathtaking experience.
We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant in Sorrento. Despite the mostly empty venue, we were told we had to order dinner due to a 30 euro minimum spend, and we had intended to have desert, coffee and drinks. The waiter consulted the boss to see if it was 'allowed '. The communication was terrible, and we felt pressured to order unwanted food. Leaving without an apology was an unpleasant end to a rude and awkward situation.
We got to sorrento and read online that we should probably book a table here! So we went over booked for the next night and we were seating in the lemon garden! Beautiful!! However other than the place it’s self, the service is slow, the food is below average. I would not return here. My partner had the spaghetti and meatball, again very bang average. I had the lamb chops and roast potatoes -nothing to shout about very minimal taste. There’s lot of places in sorrento that have amazing food and atmosphere and this isn’t one of them
