Happy hour is a must. Prices are great and the food was excellent. $5 beers and $5 off appetizers. The calamari was some of the best I've ever had..... Soft and tender, with a nice sauce to accompany it. The place is tiny with only 5-6 tables but definitely worth a visit. View all feedback.

This hotel has a gorgeous location! Was invited for a wedding and it was perfect! Lots of space for sitting outside, patio, deck, fire pits. Just a great place to relax. Good at the restaurant was delicious but pricey. $20 appies with small portion sizes. But it's fine if it's in your budget. My main complaint is the indoor pool. It was gross! The water was cloudy and had floaties. Honest to god saw a bandaid. I don't think they mopped the floors in awhile! Didn't want to walk on the told. I was really disappointed considering how great everything else was.
Great coffee and Mocha. The service was excellent and staff very friendly. Great way to start the day.
Just visited and ordered the Green Thumbwich which was just delicious! Bun was toasty and fresh and the ingredients together was just so yummy. Also ordered a latte and the girl added in some pumpkin butter and had a great vegan “Not Milk” option which is so appreciated for someone always looking for plant based options. This latte was one of the most delicious I’ve ever had!Overall awesome service by the girl behind the counter (didn’t catch her name) super friendly and we will definitely go back!
We just had a very unpleasant experience at the Road to Sooke Cafe. Despite looking forward to visiting this establishment for a month as we are living next door, we were supremely underwhelmed by the service at our initial visit. We ordered coffees and baked goods, and were not offered any napkins, cutlery or plates even though we intended to dine in the cafe and had children with us. We asked for napkins and were told they were in the console, but they were not. Also at the time of transaction we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip, BEFORE we even received any service. Although I left a 15% we still were not thanked, or treated like we were much welcome there at all. They did not even say goodbye to us when we left, they just carried on their conversations between each other, loudly while playing their own music completely oblivious to the music already playing in the hotel lobby. The cafe is in a beautiful setting but unfortunately the staff do not know how to provide any kind of welcoming customer service.
