This place was lovely at night and even provided entertainment. the staff were friendly and helpful and service was quicker than you generally expect in a busy restaurant. Food was of good quality and was large portions. Plenty of options for the kids too and free lollipops!! Had a pizza which was so big it could easily have been shared by two!! the lasagne was great too. Good selection of wines and beers. It was a bit pricier than some of the other restaurants but probably worth it.

The first day of our holiday we were 8 people who wanted to have lunch here, so we asked if we could put some tables together (the restaurant was almost empty).... read more The first day of our holiday we were 8 people who wanted to have lunch here, so we asked if we could put some tables together (the restaurant was almost empty). We weren 't allowed to, so we left again. We have never experienced that before. A few days later 6 of us accidentally went back in here, where they had already put some tables together. I got the worst steak (reportedly Argentinian) I have ever put my teeth into, impossible to chew and had to point it out. The waiter (it must have been the owner, with that attitude it was also the one who wouldn 't let us sit together the first day) started to explain that this kind of steak had to be cut into tiny pieces when it was to be eaten. I 've never heard anything so silly, so I started to smile at what he said, after which he got angry and almost started scolding I shouldn 't laugh at him (and I 'm 68 years old). Luckily a mama came and took my steak which was exchanged for another, which was absolutely perfect. Of course, some time passed, so I got to eat alone after my companions had finished. Their food was average at best. Several other employees apologized to me many times, but not the grumpy manager.

Certainly won't return on next trip. Overall, very unfriendly disappointing experience.
