Unfortunately my experience this evening was total disappointment and frankly bordering on disgusting. My husband ordered lamb shank, which was mediocre at best... read more Unfortunately my experience this evening was total disappointment and frankly bordering on disgusting. My husband ordered lamb shank, which was mediocre at best. For main course I ordered smoked cod, crispy aubergines and pumpkin purée. It arrived and looked beautiful, with a creamy white sauce on it, however not an aubergine in sight. However unfortunately once I tasted it , it was undercooked and cold! So much so that I had to send it back. Another portion arrived supposedly the same but this time with a tomatoes sauce on it, and very little in the way of presentation. I bit into it and it was even colder than the first attempt, I asked my husband to taste it and he had to spit it out! Absolutely disgusting to serve the dish up twice cold. I called the waiter over he apologised and offered to accept another order. I politely declined, if they can not get it right after two attempts I had lost all faith. I went to pay the bill, I received an apology but on checking the bill was charged for bread and dips that I did not have as my husband can not eat gluten and when I said I had not had any bread the waited asked me if I was sure! And questioned me! I paid for my husbands main course, wine and water and left in disgust , on the way out I cancelled another booking that I had made for later in the week. I am utterly disappointed in tonight’s whole experience, I felt we were too polite and there was no recompense by the restaurant.

The first time we chose t... read more A fabulous restaurant and also small hotel) on the edge of Cala Bona away from the main town but so worth visiting. We ate here twice. The first time we chose the €50 tasting menu which included wine, water and coffee. It was stunning. The á la carte menu was equally good.
