On our trip to Mallorca we wanted some local food and to get away from the usual ex pat chips with everything, so by walking 1/2 a klick we found this place, ru... read more On our trip to Mallorca we wanted some local food and to get away from the usual ex pat chips with everything, so by walking 1/2 a klick we found this place, run by a spanish mum, and we were welcomed in out of the wind and rain (well it was April) and we had some wonderful tapas. We went back at the end of our stay and were treated like long lost friends, we wanted something light and I asked for sardines having had some with tapas earlier in the week, and was told that there were not any at the market today but I have gold fish (yep thats way we thought as well) but she explained that it was yea big, and it would come with this and that, so we said we would give it a try, when it came to the table it was a large glass plate shaped like a fish and it was a gilt head bream to die for. This was accompanied by 2 large frozen glasses containing a lovely cold Lager, it was brilliant. The sun then made an appearance so we ordered a large jug of sangria and made the most of it outside and enjoyed the view. we would recommend Cheri's it was FAB

We found this amazing place whilst staying at the protur bonnaire which is 2 mins away, the food is wonderful and such good value, did a lovely kids menu as wel... read more We found this amazing place whilst staying at the protur bonnaire which is 2 mins away, the food is wonderful and such good value, did a lovely kids menu as well as traditional Spanish food, lovely views across the sea, recommend the tapas for 2 we had it twice and was only 14 euros for the 2 of us.

Wish I had found this place on day one. Great service, Great Tapas and beer is only 1.75 a pint. Make sure you get a seat outside over looking the sea. The best thing is the ho... read more We have just come back from cala bona and had dinner at chiris five or six nights. The fresh fish, the tapas, the paella all excellent. The best thing is the hospitality of the owner. We were made welcome every time we went and one night our little one was not well and needed a special meal maw guess what the team went out of their way in preparing the meal for her. We will be back in October to see them again. Try the sole excellent home made and fresh.
