Contribute FeedbackThis is really quality food but they serve very fast (in order to close early ? and this is a bit annoying. Arrived at 9.30 pm approximatively...apero, starter (pasta then meat, dolce and coffee. At 11.00pm you have to leave...
Went here twice while on holiday in the area. The food was thought provoking and delicious. Not the normal menu and gave a different perspective to choose from. Enough choices but not too many to suggest pre-prepared ingredients. Place for a special occasion. We eat there on our last night and left with a satisfied smile. The friendliness and service was appreciated.
We decided to stop over at this restaurant for lunch while travelling along the Milan-Venice motorway. The restaurant is conveniently located at approx 10 min drive from the Sommacampagna exit, in the main square of the town. I was part of a 7-people group, we sat outdoor. The service was efficient, polite, perfectly timed. The dishes presentation was outstanding and thought through. The pastas were delicious, all made locally from scratch, including the tagliatelle with truffle and the ravoli with aubergines. Dessert list was definitely worth a look (and a try! . Good selection of local wines. Very reasonably priced. Worth a visit.
We've been there several times already. Very nice lawn, tables and chairs outside. Food also very tasty and a bit fancy. We really like it!
On recommendation from our host Giorgio we decided to have dinner here on our last night in the area. We arrived at 8 on a Tuesday and were seated immediately. Our waitress a cousin to the owners had a wonderful assortment of breadsticks on our table quickly. The front manager explained everything on the menu to my wife and myself in detail. The antipasto of various salamis was excellent. It arrive with some pickled vegetables and a creamy polenta. This was an unexpected treat. My wife ordered there version of tagliatelle with bolognese sauce. She absolutely loved this dish. I enjoy tortellini and they had in with a butter sauce, but quickly changed it to the bolognese when I asked if that would be possible. The sauce came on the side and allowed me to mix it in with pasta as I saw fit. The desert listings although short all sound very good. The cheesecake with a fig topping was perfect with out be over sweet and heavy. This Italian cooking the way it was meant to be done. Looking forward to my next visit when I return to the area.
