We had a wonderful experience at VintEdge. Our group of five was comfortably seated at the high tables, where we sampled the drink special, a variety of small plates, and some wine. The service was impeccable, and we highly recommend this restaurant. They also offer several vegetarian options, making it an excellent choice for everyone. The ambiance is perfect for a gathering with friends. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Vintedge Wine:
Vintedge is a lovely spot to enjoy a drink, but it is quite pricey. We ordered the French onion dip and chips for $9, and I could have bought a bag of Cape Cod chips and a tub of dip for less and had three times the quantity. The mini olive plate was true to its name, and at $12, it didn't feel worth it. Considering that customers are allowed to bring their own snacks, it might be worth hoping for lower drink prices... Great spot to relax with friends! Cost per person: $30–50. Food: 5/5, Service: 4/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
To our delight, stepping inside completely transformed our impressions—it felt like we had entered a sleek Manhattan wine bar! The decor was modern and inviting, featuring both lounge seating and tables. They even had a private room for parties or intimate dinners. Speaking of dinner, in addition to the amazing hors d'oeuvres (the charcuterie plate was fantastic!), they also serve full meals. Their cocktail menu was creative and exciting, and of course, their wine selection was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was a Tuesday afternoon around 4 PM, so we were able to walk in and choose our seats, but we were advised that it gets quite busy on weekends, and reservations are recommended. We will definitely be returning!
This charming little wine bar in Somerville caught my attention. I was particularly impressed by their creative cocktails, which were a highlight of my visit. The ambiance was delightful and refreshing, making it a nice spot to unwind. On the downside, I found the food options a bit unappealing, as they leaned more towards small bites. Additionally, the service could use some improvement; since the waitstaff also bartends, it took longer than expected to place drink orders and have them prepared.
This was a magnificent looking place with a private area for events as well as a small bar that seated about six or seven people. There were high tables along with a few couches to sit at as well. They also had their own liquor store next door. It gave off a very relaxed atmosphere. The menu was a little on the pricier side with tapas and appetizers as well as a few basic entrees. I had the flat and drums $18) along with the raw oysters $17). There were eight wings with a sweet-spicy house rub with agave nectar served over Spanish onions and a long hot pepper. These were solid. Seven of the wings were large with plenty of meat. The wings were more on the sweeter side because of the agave nectar. Regardless, it was not too sweet, and they were all-around tasty. There were six large oysters that came with cocktail and mignonette sauce. These oysters appeared fresh, and the mignonette sauce enhanced the overall taste. The cocktail sauce was okay. I would have liked more of a horseradish taste to that. Will I go back? Yes.
