Did the tasting on wednesday evening, the food was incredible, thoughtful and inspiring to an industry warrior. The wine pairing was great, providing more balance to an already exceptional meal. Would do it all again View all feedback.

Well $38 for a bucatini carbonara is pretty outrageous. We didn’t realize the price until we got our bill. Dish was rather underwhelming as was the salad. We asked for bread and never got it. Needless to say we won’t return View all feedback.
The pasta and ambiance were fantastic at this restaurant! However, I would not suggest trying the ribeye. It had uni on top, which tasted very fishy and seemed to indicate that the uni was not fresh. This made the steak taste fishy as well, along with an unexpected BBQ rub flavor. The combination of flavors was unpleasant. Despite this, I would still return for the delicious pasta.
I have never written a negative review before but had to in this case. I will say that the appetizers were great, especially the spiced carrots. But the pasta dishes were far too salty and the server was awful. She was not friendly AT ALL and was not attentive either. We have never left less than 20% ever but stick with 15% this time. There were 4 of us and not one of us left happy.
The Fat Hen was ok. The roasted carrots and gemeli were wonderful. The angel hair pasta was way too salty and the olive oil cake was burned on the bottom. When they brought us the wrong entree and we told the server she acted like we had made the mistake and left it in front of us as she went to speak to the kitchen staff. Not great, not bad.
Called ahead and was sold an experience that didn’t exist. Waitress was barely accommodating. Our appetizers were fantastic but duck tortellini was way overstated. Was a birthday dinner which was noted in the open table reservation but not one mention through our visit. It’s too bad, has so much potential but really missed the mark.
Fat hen is so far the most intimate, charming and cozy place I’ve been in to dine in. Food was impeccable. Definitely a second date.
