What Cletus Klocko doesn't like about Casa Luna Mexican Cuisine:
Worse chicken fajitas and worse pollo al mojo de ajo...EVER. Fajitas have vegetables, and chicken with a flavor....not here! Garlic chicken is supposed to taste like garlic...not here! Chicken in both dishes were pounded thin, which is fine; but overcooked, and both tasted exactly the same. No seasoning whatsoever. This place is a gem! Really good quality food and excellent service; my kids really enjoy the indoor and outdoor atmosphere here, quite colorful. I had the Chimichurri Carne Asada entre with beans/rice and my wife had the nachos. Both were really good, the steak was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I had the birria tacos and my wife the chicken fajita salad. Everything had good flavor from the chips and salsa to the meal.
This is a very pleasant secluded place in Somerville. The food was very good and the outdoor space is very cute. Would return.
The first time I was there it was amazing. My family go there all the time and we sat outside.
