Buddy's Diner - Somerville

The food was fantastic the people there are awesome couldn't ask for a better mix to start your day

This place is a gem. This is the kind of place that should be frequented, cherished, and not overlooked. If you want a no-frill, filling, classic breakfast, this is the spot. It's cash only and almost everything is cooked on the flat-top. You want Eggs Benedict? Go somewhere else. This is the place for omelets, toast, meats, coffee, and specials named after regulars. If my diet allowed I'd be here almost every day. It's so inexpensive. This is a classic spot and they do it right.

I found Buddy's on Google Maps when I was staying in Somerville and what a treat! It's TINY and quaint, with friendly service and diners alike. It's absolutely charming handwritten menus and an open grill where you can watch your meal being made with care. Bring lots of money as it's cash only and you'll want to leave a big tip. Can't wait to go back before I leave tomorrow!

Greatest corned beef hash and eggs I've ever had in my life. The lady had the sausage and eggs which she said were great as well. Nice staff, funny as hell (in a sarcastic New Englander way. You won't get it, and may have your panties in quite a bunch if you're not from the area. I've been to a lot of diners around the Worcester area. First time I'd been to a Boston area diner. This one is just so cool. Built in 1930, a sliding front door. Just awesome. Will definitely be back.
