Great, great food that we often get for takeaway. The dining area is small, stuck in the eighties and your waitresses are local teenagers BUT WHO CARES! Small family business; been in the community for years getting by selling takeaway and on the justifiable goodwill from locals because of the food. Get the food some white wine and enjoy with family and friends at home. View all feedback.

Dinner for three. Busy Saturday night mainly takeaway two other tables the restaurant were occupied. Young inexperienced wait staff who whilst polite were not well organised and also very busy with takeaway meals.lost count of the number of apologies to takeaway customers, and diners alike with delays, incomplete meals, missing dishes, and having to wait for service.Meals were ok but not great and some were not as ho... The restaurant exceeded our expectations with its delicious and generous portions of beautifully presented food. We were pleasantly surprised by a visit from the chef, who was a true gentleman.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but be prepared to wait longer than their estimated pick-up time for takeout. I've been a customer for years and delays in service are common, but the quality of the food makes it worth it.
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. Many people were coming in to pick up takeout, but we decided to dine in and were very happy we did. The calamari appetizer was unique and delicious, and our main dishes were fantastic. The steamed rice was especially fluffy. We had a great experience overall.
What a disaster the Tasty Wok is. They open at 5 pm, At 5 past 5 I rang them and booked a table for 1 for a time of 5:45. I arrived bang on because I was Very hungry. I stood at reception for 10 minutes before they seated me at a table where I was the only person in the restaurant other than about 5 people waiting for take away orders. I ordered my meal straight away as I knew what I wanted, 45 minutes later still no meal on the table and still the only person in the restaurant, I complained, I said to the girl “you have 5 minutes or I will be leaving”. So my meal arrives with about 1 minute to spare. It was delicious, I really enjoyed it. Now I’ve been at the Tasty Wok for more than 80 minutes, so I want to get home to my fur babies and want to pay! Again I stand at the reception counter waiting for someone to come out the front and take my money. 7 or 8 minutes later Still no service at the counter, I go too the kitchen, poke my head in the door and explain I want to leave can someone please come and serve me, 5 minutes later at last the girl comes out serves 2 or 3 other customers for take-aways then takes my money. In all I spent 20 minutes waiting for counter service, 45 minutes waiting at the table for my meal to arrive and just 15 minutes actually eating. Into the bargain no water, no prawn crackers, I ordered a No sugar coke, they delivered it in the can, what about a glass for in house customers. The Tasty Wok is not a restaurant, it’s a takeaway store, the phone doesn’t stop ringing and beeping sounds from the kitchen can get annoying. Not the most relaxing environment. I heard the girl taking phone orders saying it’s over an hour waiting time, goodness me they have only been open for 45 minutes! Clearly the chef slept in! Twice this has happened now and not again. Order your meal well in advance of when you think you may want it because it could take a very very long time!
Worst Chinese food we've ever eaten. Peking chicken was full of overcooked, and way past its use by date, celery ? and tiny bits of carrot. The sauce had a thick layer of oil floating on top and the chicken was only just okay. The meal was far more expensive than expected and we had to wait 40 minutes for our order. All in all a most unpleasant experience in every way and needless to say we won't be going back there again.
