The front desk person at our local hotel told us about the Pine Grill. We could walk from the hotel to the restaurant. We had a steak cheese 10) and a crab cake sandwich 11). Both were good sandwiches. Unfortunately the pies are so good that they sell out almost as soon as they come out of the oven, so there was so pie available for us, at dinner.
We had a 10% off card from the Hampton Inn so we decided to go there for dinner. Everything was prepared exactly as requested; we had the steak salad. The steak was perfect: rare medium well. We had the last piece of very nice peach pie with ice cream! The service was very good.
Server was good and personable. Noticed the owner/manager walking around chatting with the people. Did not stop at our table, not regulars, so he didn't stop? Not sure of his reason. Food was ok, had meatloaf sandwich with gravy. I would recommend asking to taste the gravy before ordering, had no taste definitely was not beef gravy as advertised
I have dined at this restaurant for lunch several times. The service is always very good, the food is excellent, and the facility is clean. Their sandwiches and burgers are delicious. Personally, I am a fan of their liver and onions dish.
