Lunch was good. I had the crab cake which was ok, I've had ones with much more crab. But my husband had a burger that was very good and my son had the short rib tacos that had more meat then he expected and were very good. Service was good. View all feedback.
What denny johnson doesn't like about Gregory's Restaurant Bar:
Our server never mentioned specials to us found out from another table, our potatoes were cold, my wife’s flounder was under cooked along with her crab cake. Just totally unimpressed with the whole experience. View all feedback.
Food is about average for a bar. Trivia nights are fun. Atmosphere is local feel.
Stopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Service was excellent and the food was above average.
Went to park at Gregory's Restaurants' parking lot and was charged $20 to use inside the Restaurant. I told the kid that was working the lot that we were going into Josie Kelly's, but still paid the ticket. We realized we made a mistake when we tried to use the ticket there. So, we went to go talk to someone at Gregory's. I talked to a sweet lady at the front and asked if there was any way I could get a refund for the confusion. She came back looking distraught as she told me she was being yelled at by a higher up (may have been a manager/owner. Now, I owned up to the mistake of parking in the lot, but after only an hour, it seemed like the parking was free. I'm more upset about how the employees were being treated. As someone who works in food service, it is incredibly disrespectful to yell at your employees for doing their job and asking questions. Also, it is very important to own up to the mistakes of YOUR employees. I will not be giving them my service anytime soon.
We sat at the bar to have a bite to eat and a drink. Food was delicious and the martini perfect! Gregory's never let's you down?
Sat down at 5:41pm, ordered, and did not receive our food until 7:10pm. We were told absolutely nothing, no refills of water at all, and didnt taking our salad plates off the table for over 30 minutes. after over an hour of waiting, we finally we got up and complained only to find out our server never put our order in and instead of being honest when we asked about why it was taking so long, she explained how kitchens work for a table full of service workers. cold fries, cold crab cakes, corn that was half off the cob already. if we had better service, and given honesty, this experience would have been much different. they comped NOTHING off of our bill and avoided us after we got our food out of fear of her own mistake. the manager was avoidant and has no idea whats going on in her own restaurant. dont waste your time coming here even if the food is good, the service absolutely destroys what could be an amazing place.
