Succulent Cafe - SOLVANG

We celebrated our anniversary and were seated at a great corner table. Our server, Kelly, was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the bacon-wrapped scallops as an appetizer - a generous portion. The highlight of the dinner was the short ribs, but all of our entrees were delicious. The fried chicken and stuffed chicken were excellent. We will definitely be dining here every time we visit Solvang. And to top it off, we had a fantastic chocolate dessert with ice cream and toffee crumbles!

We felt rushed during our visit to the restaurant. While I understand that they were busy, as locals, it makes me hesitant to return anytime soon. The staff cleared dishes from those who had finished eating, but not everyone was done, which can make those still eating feel pressured to hurry. Additionally, the waitress asked if we wanted to see the dessert menus before everyone had finished their meals. I suggested that she return after everyone was done eating to ask us about dessert. The food was fantastic, but the noise level inside the restaurant when it's packed is high, making it difficult to have a conversation without shouting. The server and staff were friendly, but it seemed like they may not have been properly trained on balancing efficiency with pushiness.

It is always a pleasure to dine here. Kelly and the other staff members are friendly and attentive. The food is superb and seating is comfortable, especially In ‘the library’ table section.

Overall a very good dining experience . Wine list gathers local wines at affordable prices. Too bad the choice of fish dishes are very limited. Some dishes are original , others plain and main stream ....

Everything from service to food was excellent! Best flourless chocolate cake I have ever had!
