Root 246 at Hotel Corque - SOLVANG

This is our third visit in this very good restaurant. we had buttersocken suppen, my man ordered the wagyu burger, and I the impossibility burger. that was delicious. our hostess and server were warm, friendly and diligent. we will come back as soon as the health crisis permits.

We weren't here in time, so we thought we would try again. we were disappointed with the small selection of options that looked appealing. friends had the halibut and thought it was fabulous. we have the appetizer special test and very disappointed. the wine selection was descending and reasonable based on local options. the rest of our meal was average. but the dessert was fabulous.

For years we come to this restaurant. new menu is quite small, but everything is healthy and delicious! service is always friendly and skillful. loves the location and the style. a great experience.

The food was good quality and very fresh. Service was a little slow and inexperienced. Portions we smaller then expected. The halibut was too hard. Expected more selections to choose from for the main dish’s.

Wonderful service, delicious cuisine, and fabulous details to delight the kids!
