Tried the combination plate to taste a bit of meatball and sausage and omg so glad I did. Everything had pickled cabbage and mash potatoes and they were amazing. Serving size is appropriate, not to much food and must have the dessert at the end. Don'tmiss it! No wait when we came which was Sunday lunch. Sweet staff and a few locals to chat with.

We tried the 2 sausage plate as well as the 2 meatball plate. Definitely something lacking. I'm part Swedish, which of course is not Danish but many similarities. The Split Pea Soup had a decent amount of potato and ham bits with good taste. It was kind ofthin but that is more preference on my part. The taste of the sausages and meatballs was neutral. The red cabbage wasn't toobad. Mashed potatoes better than instant. The brown gravy did little to enhance anything. Obviously the handed down recipeshave changed.

Definitely the most expensive meal we are on our central/northern California trip, but it seemed like the only option to have Danish food in Solvang. All the food was really good, though.... but the service was pretty sad. The employees didn't seem happyto be there at all. :

Just a tad too much dressing on my order.. Also, I asked for the dressing on the side to avoid this and they did not follow those directions.
