I ordered the seafood/shellfish linguine... this consisted of 3 x mussels and 2 x prawns (1 shelled)... that was it! Linguine in a tomato based sauce. I complained and they didn't charge my for that dish. The place is lovely, very expensive and looking at my companions dishes not lot of food there either. I wouldn't go back I'm afraid... and i wouldn't recommend it to others...
Came here for lunch with no booking and we were so happy we did! One of the best meals of the holiday, really good paella mixta and also a iberico pork steak. Great cocktails and mocktails too.
Potential to be great but the front of house staff are non existent, no system for service, had to wait to order drinks etc. a shame but staff seemed more bothered about setting tables that attending to seated diners. Trying to be trendy and the service suffered. Also overpriced compared to other places on the port front.
We were in the area today sightseeing, and decided to pop into Port de Sóller where we wished to have a drink and something to eat. We didn’t have a reservation here, but decided we’d pop in and sit on the sofas (rather than eating in the restaurant). We asked if this was ok, and one staff said yes. So, we sat. There were drinks menus on the table which we perused. It took an age for anyone to come back to us, to order drinks. We wanted the food menu which came eventually. There were 5 other tables in the restaurant being or ending their meals so it was hardly busy. Eventually, we did order our drinks and food. The food was good. However, the customer service from the staff (one individual in particular) was far below par. Both members of staff on shift took an age to come over to take orders, which there was no reason for as the restaurant wasn’t busy, and the majority of tables were close to leaving. The staff seemed to find clearing tables, and faffing about more important than taken new orders. Whilst we were there three other parties came in and also wanted drinks (one had a very small baby). The couple with the baby had to wait a good 20 minutes before a drinks order was taken which is not acceptable. Although the child was good as gold, it was a very hot day (even in the shade) and to keep people waiting because clearing tables is deemed more of a priority is unacceptable. One of the other families waited a long time also, but strangely enough a group who were known to the staff got served immediately. That in itself speaks volumes. We found the customer service lacking, and our food order was almost slammed on the table (rather than placed). Our honest impression were that the staff members were aloof, and borderline rude.
Probably the best pitch in town but sadly it had a busy cafe atmosphere. Service was patchy. Tables so close together, when waiters were at the neighbouring table their bottoms were practically resting on yours. Thai salad was delicious the guozo were tasteless. The lemon chicken portion was small with one baby potato halved in two. The lamb had so much fat you couldn't find the meat. More expensive than other restaurants and sadly not worth it.
