What trodd dislikes about La Payesa:
If a restaurant offers a fish of the day dish you assume it's going to be a bit pricey but fresh. If they push the dish it gives you the confidence to order it despite the cost. All three of us ordered it. It was pricey. But also dry and over-cooked and served with a few almost cold chips. Finding a cafe overlooking the harbour boats, that just serves drinks, is nigh on impossible in Port Soller. However, La Payesa concentrates on being just a bar, and is consequently frequented by the locals, particularly as the fishing catches are brought next door straight off the boats. Certainly our favourite place here for a coffee brandy.

Goodisimos pa amb oli, price suitable to the area and pleasant terrace and service.

... in a wonderful location facing the marina in the beautiful archetypally Spanish town of Soller. Broad range of drinks all at a reasonable price for the location at hand what really made it for me was the small pavement area where you could fit a small number of petite tables each of which was accompanied by a couple of chairs just delightful !! Watch the world go by in this utterly charming town .... and there's not many better places to do it from than this bar !!

Stopped here for lunch after exploring the village of Soller and getting the tram down to the port and the day. Ordered Spanish Omelette and Spicy Potatoes to share. Excellent fresh orange and coffees. Must be good as the locals were sat playing cards inside and this is always a recommendation!
