The lime tart was absolutely outstanding, light and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy. Easily the highlight of the visit and worth coming back for on its own. The terrace and the view are beautiful and make for a lovely place to sit and relax. The rest of the menu was fairly average, but if you enjoy citrus desserts, don’t leave without trying the lime tart.
We visited Fornalutx and stopped in this typical restaurant for lunch. It was amazing! Paella top of the top! Highly recommended!
Very good local food, delicious fish and lamb! Average to poor service. They pretend they don't see you, I had to take the menus on my own after waiting for a couple of minutes. They also can't smile apparently. The wait time was longer than typical.
We drove from Palma to Cap de Formentor and made a point to pass through the picturesque village of Fornalutz with its classic stone farmhouses and orange and olive groves tucked into the mountains. This lovely trattoria has a patio with a majestic view of the countryside where you can sit and savor a bowl of red mullets and fish stew with rice, some tapas of a spicy sobrasado, here served more like a chorizo, and a jug of vino tinto. Nicer than a can of tuna !
