The most amazing food and location together. A hidden gem with a stunning menu set high in the mountains. A twisty drive to arrive is rewarded by some of the most amazing food on the Island and we’ve tried a lot). Simple and perfect .
Fantastc location but very bad food. My wife and I had the Sole Meuniere which looked Nice when served, but half of it was raw inside. We called the waiter whos response was: Yes I can see that, then tolk our plates with partly eaten fish and came back with the plates some minutes later with the same fish which they had fried again w/o knowing which plate belonged to who. Unfortnately the fish was still under cooked and was still not edible, but knowbody cared so we had too leave the restaurant paying for a meal which was not edible and without any excuse
Location and views were the best thing here. Food was ‘ok’ for the price but not exceptional. Access was ridiculous- road to the restaurant was more suited to a 4x4 and the hike up from the parking area was about the height of a 6 storey building. Service was poor and no one even took the trouble to ask if our meal was ok. Saved this venue to be the highlight of our holiday and ended up being very disappointed.
We had a wonderful dinner. Each course was exceptional. Romantic atmosphere, view to the mountains and extraordinary good food. We will definitely come back.
Probably the definition of a hidden gem, this place offers up stunning views of the Tramuntana range and nearby Port of Sollér. It’s an absolute trek to get there however! The drive up is not for the faint hearted (although no complaints here, not in the hotel’s control). What is probably in their control though is the walk up from their designated car park. I agree it’s a ridiculous place to put the restaurant car park with a really taxing hike up from the car park you have to be pretty fit to get from the car park to the restaurant. If there is no alternative the hotel should offer a shuttle from the car park to the main entrance so that diners don’t have to arrive having got a sweat on! Restaurant itself is stunning, great service and decent food. You certainly pay for the experience but it’s something I feel is probably worth it on balance. We went for dinner but I actually think the best atmosphere would be pre sunset or perhaps for lunch where you can truly appreciate the views in daylight.
