Was Alexanne Pollich at Da Vinci a mag?
Was here after a visit to the zoo to silence hunger and thirst... When it turned out to be a great idea. Even better to eat a burger... The dish was served very appealing and very fast. The staff was very friendly and very friendly... absolutely recommended! View all feedback.
What Berndt Seiler dislikes about Da Vinci:

We went with a party of 9 people to this restaurant and I have to say that it looked really nice from the outside but the inside was not very inviting. The tables very very near to each other and there was not much room and it was very loud as it was very busy. The food we ordered was very average and the salad was awful - it was bitter and the dressing tasted of nothing but plain yoghurt. The staff were very very busy and always in a rush which made us feel slightly uncomfortable. However the prices were very reasonable but I do not think that we will go there again in the future.
They had cleared out all the rural tat since my previous visit, making for a much cleaner, brighter room. They have kept the "cowshed" part of the name, though.I had a good tomato soup, and a tasty selection of medallions served up in a pan with a mushroom sauce that seemed mostly to consist of mushrooms and cream. I washed it down with some samples from their beer list (which included a nice draught Kolsch). The service was fine.It may be a cultural thing, but if a restaurant back at home (London) had a card machine that was not working, they would not be so aggressive in making it clear that this was the customer's problem and they should not have come in if they could not pay in cash. I had enough, just, but I left feeling unlikely to return.Handy for the Zoo station on the Schwebebahn.
I was twice in this restaurant. Very nice owners and fresh food. The food is well prepared and the wine is high level. Further, they have enough parking there.
The Alte Kuhstall was opened in 1882 as a gastronomic operation. Such a traditional restaurant that has already organized hundreds, probably even thousands of birthday parties, weddings and many other family celebrations. The location is favorable. The big Wuppertal Zoo is only about 100 meters. The stadium in the zoo, known for football fans, is vis a vis. The extensive environment consists of a colony of villas from the Imperial period. Until the remodeling of 2005, you could experience the creative design and cuisine of the 70s. The restaurant was then dark and at that time kulinarically destined by Toast Hawaii and Leipziger Allerlei with roasts and sauce. The restaurant is large and has estimated 100 seats on the inside for the restaurant guests, with an outdoor restaurant with more than 100 seats and a venue in a similar order. After several operator changes, the restaurant received the new name Da Vinci 2 years ago with the subline to the old Cowshed. Whether it's very happy to miss the restaurant a new Italian name and then connect with the somewhat strange old name with the old cowshed once. We stayed at the Wuppertal Zoo on a Sunday with our friends from southern Germany. After a good 5 hours marathon by cradle with lions, tigers, monkeys, bears, sea lions and other animals only interrupted by a 1/2 hour coffee/kitchen break I was completely exhausted. Hunger, thirst and longing for a seat. At 16:00 we left the zoo and stood before the Da Vinci minutes later. Now I'm not necessarily on such excursion restaurants where Sunday's Grandma, Aunt Elsbeth, Uncle Gustav and Opa are executed. But at this moment the Da Vinci alternatives, and also the cap was announced: through the warm kitchen. At first I was positively surprised. I remembered an old, dark restaurant. Now it was bright, friendly, pleasant brown tones and a neat equipment. Large ceiling curtains provided the right light. The restaurant was well visited, but not full. We waited in the entrance for a table. Some ladies and gentlemen from the service ran in all directions, but we all went by. Suddenly a waiter appeared in classic black and white and said to us: Tach reserved the dominations? I denied this short speech with the desire for a table for 4 people. Bad, but I'll see it was the answer. I let him see. He felt good 5 minutes. He then appeared again at the upper speed and the statement, because one makes free on the back of the window, can then sit there sisch. The table was quickly reconsidered, we finally had a seat. We'd like to have a drink and want to see a map. It takes, but then Mister Black appeared
We ordered the old cowshed and were very satisfied. The delivery was on time. The supplier was nice and the food was super packed. All dishes were delicious. The meat is well grilled and yet delicate. Only the roast potatoes had a few hard pieces, the bacon was still up. Supplements salads were also great. Tastefully successful and also the quality is very good. We like to order again.
