This was incredibly disappointing and showed terrible customer service. There was not even an offer for an alternative time or date. Overall, this experience was just terrible. I will never consider booking with this restaurant again. This is the worst service I have ever encountered. In terms of the food, service, and atmosphere, they all receive a rating of 1.

This has seriously been the worst service I've received in years .i was greeted by a young girl whom hadn't a clue what was going on .she wasnt able to allocate... read more This has seriously been the worst service I've received in years .i was greeted by a young girl whom hadn't a clue what was going on .she wasnt able to allocate us a seat so we just sat at the nearest table .we ordered a bottle of wine and she promptly took payment .lots of tables with no drinks on .people walking out as waiting too long .4 staff all milling around doing nothing .waited 20 mins for our drinks so decided to go to the bar and ask “.yes they will be with you shortly “ 10 minutes later they arrived so half an hours wait for a bottle of wine .abs ridiculous .there is abs NO customer service .the only quick service was when they took payment!!!! Its being run by collage kids but it needs someone in there to organise the staff .such a shame as the decor is lovely but customer service has to come first .always greet and acknowledge your customers .very important .

Whils... read more Visited oktagon in Knowle on Friday 31st march 2023 at around 5.30pm. Ordered food and the hygiene of the guy cooking the pizzas left a lot to be desired. Whilst preparing the food he was constantly messing with his mouth, nose, face etc. running his fingers through his hair , on his mobile phone, eating the food that he was preparing. Messing with switches. Also the young girl who took our order when she brought our food to us didn’t offer us napkins, knives and forks or rude plates we had to ask. Very very poor service and hygiene by oktagon disgusting.

I do find this bar to be pleasant when not too busy, but when it gets crowded the noise due to all the hard finishes is just painful when trying to have a conversation with friends. It reaches a point where if you look round you can see the whole bar shouting at one another... quite comical really. The bar is nice to visit now and again, but there is better beer and cheaper beer in the village. Oh and pubs where ear protection is not required.

Bar... read more Visited on Friday 14th and waited 15 minutes and still not served. Not even acknowledged by bar staff. Group of girls came in and got served straight away. Bar staff looked miserable and eventually we left and went to the forest in dorridge where we were greeted with a smile and prompt service. Lovely atmosphere.
