Description

Nestled in a quirky corner of Birmingham, this coffee and tea shop presents a mixed bag of experiences. While some patrons rave about the freshly roasted coffee, excellent service, and tasty all-day breakfast, others lament the greasy offerings, outdated decor, and unsettling cleanliness. Complaints about smoke and uninviting staff create a polarized image, with some recalling unfortunate health scares linked to their visit. Nevertheless, for coffee aficionados seeking a superior brew, the consistently fresh beans and personalized service stand out. For those wishing to enjoy a more pleasant ambiance, alternatives nearby may offer a more satisfactory dining experience.

I just accidentally showed up when I ripped up caffeine. To this day, it is the best coffee I ever had better than the trip they pay through the dach for at the company's places.

Not many places where you get so much service in birmingham. I buy my fresh beans from here regularly and the personal is on the hand to help them choose coffee for their taste. coffee is freshly roasted and ground or left completely

Really friendly - the house mix coffee beans are beautiful and the owner is incredibly well known about coffee

If you want a decent cup of coffee, this is the place to go. Coffee beans freshly ground on the premises and it certainly shows taste wise in what is an excellent cup of coffee. As an added bonus Martyn served me a lovely Lashford sausage sandwich, so what's not to like. I've been visiting The Coffee roaster for many years and the coffee beats the medeocre offerings of local competitors hands down.

I recently visited this coffee and tea shop and what a discovery! It was definitely the best cup of coffee I've had in a long time. I also tried their all day breakfast, which was delicious and served hot. The prices were excellent for the quality of food. The quirky decor was intriguing to me, and I loved that you can purchase coffee beans and loose leaf tea. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you enjoy discussing all things coffee.
