Awful lodge experience! How do you say that you can accept a booking for Christmas Eve but not have someone there to at least give me keys to my room for a one nigt stay. I'm upset at the fact that I had to call someone where else to stay tonight. View all feedback.

Ate at the restaurant. Staff were very pleasant. Food was really good. Fries were a little oily but nothing to really complain about. Everything seemed clean. Nice atmosphere.
Pleasant. Not fancy. Perfectly clean, well cared for, well built. Small room but that was all I needed. I have paid far more for terrible rooms. Firm bed. Quite enough. I could hear cars on the nearby road but only when I was awake. This is a quiet area with not a lot of night traffic. The bar was pleasant, the staff very friendly. I enjoyed a couple of beers, but didn't have any food. I definitely plan to return here next time I visit the Kickapoo valley.
