Description

Balai Gloria in Solano is a multifunctional spot—restaurant, hotel, event and wellness center—serving generous, reasonably priced Filipino dishes, memorable halo-halo and a hearty breakfast in a posh-yet-welcoming atmosphere with ample free parking. While local specialties shine, some innovations and non-local items fall flat, and brewed coffee and certain soups lack punch. Service is inconsistent and waits can be long, especially at peak times or holidays, with extra charges for takeout containers. Best visited off-peak for a pleasant, comfortable meal with family or groups.

Food sucks. Their sizzling chicken is not what sizzling look like. Class D meat that's all I can say. Service is terrible. We have been on our table for 15 minutes and no server came to help us with our orders. Had to get up several times to ask for assistance and order missing. No apology offered. Extra charge for take out boxes. Hello Management. Meal type: Dinner

Food is good enough. Not too tasty and not too bland. Although I personally don't eat anything with cinnamon, their french toast definitely fueled me until our afternoon ride. I didn't quite like their brewed coffee. There isn't enough kick to wake up my brain cells. Ambience is quiet and somewhat exclusive. Perhaps due to the time we ate our breakfast. We went here around November and it was a gloomy day. I think the weather complemented the vibe of the place. I'm not sure how it goes on a sunny day. Staff service is so-so. It takes a while to get their attention. This is something they have to improve since I personally don't see an edge on their menu. The price matches their servings and the quality of food. Overall, I'm looking forward for them to improve their service and the food taste. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces. No need to worry much about it if you are visiting in groups.
