What WesS dislikes about Wild Note Cafe:
Very good service from waitress and staff. Tables were close together. Guy at next table talked so loud it was hard to converse at our table. Food was good and ample, and arrived with good timing. View all feedback.
Whenever we dine at this restaurant, we consistently enjoy delicious food and excellent service. During our recent visit, our server, named Damien, was exceptional and provided us with wonderful service.
Totally underestimated this restaurant. Food was great. And fairly reasonable. Went with a friend. Plan to go back with my wife.
The real benefit to eating at the Wild Note is access to the BellyUp shows. The food is fine. The wine selection is quite good. But, IMHO, there are better restaurants in Solana Beach. It's really all about getting early entrance into the shows. The food isn't bad, it's just not the main show at Wild Note.

Service was great, nice wine selection and good food. Lobster and shrimp enchiladas were tasty and nicely presented. Appetizer of chicken quesadilla was perfect for four. Tortilla soup had great body and flavor, though I prefer it with a more garnish (cilantro, crema, strips) mine came with almost none. Scallops were very well prepared. The real star was our server, who went out of her way to get us into the show on time.
