I stopped by O’Tacos in Soissons expecting something closer to a traditional Mexican taco, so I was definitely surprised when my food came out looking much more like a burrito-style wrap than what I had originally pictured. That being said, once I took the first bite, any expectations I had completely changed because it was absolutely delicious. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The combination of ingredients worked really well together, and the flavors were rich without feeling overwhelming. The meat was cooked well, the fries inside added a really satisfying texture, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly. It was one of those meals where you keep saying “just one more bite” until suddenly the whole thing is gone. What I appreciated most was that even though it wasn’t what I initially expected, it ended up being something I genuinely enjoyed. Sometimes trying something different turns into the best experience, and that was definitely the case here. O’Tacos has its own style, and once you go into it understanding that, it becomes easy to appreciate what they do. The restaurant itself was clean, service was quick, and the staff were friendly. My order came out in a reasonable amount of time, and everything felt organized and welcoming. It made for a really enjoyable stop while spending time in Soissons. If you walk in expecting a classic Mexican taco, you might be surprised like I was. But if you go in open-minded and ready for something flavorful, filling, and honestly really addictive, you’ll probably leave happy. I definitely did. I’d happily come back the next time I’m in Soissons because sometimes the places that surprise you end up becoming favorites.
The first time I ordered O'tacos from his opening in Soissons. Order passed by UberEat, we were delivered very quickly in 20min we received our order.
Tested and unapproved. The taste of tacos is frankly not terrible: too much cheese sauce, too much fat, really too many big blue cord tips (only cut in 2, the feeling of having a whole piece of blue cord), finally too much. The drinks ordered came out directly after taking control at the terminal, 20 minutes waiting for 3 tacos as well 20min or the drinks have the time to refresh... we saw another order where there was a tiramisu, even result as for the drinks. For a candy it is already average, but for a shotamisu it is unthinkable: where is the cold chain? Order terminals frankly not intuitive and do not talk about TPE... The Otacos of Reims Erlon are really better. But for Soissons, it will be the Sun Burger that will be better qualitative.
