The decor is obviously also a backdrop to socialism, which gives a small view of the past. As the name suggests, they offer a wide range of Rakia selections, from the known grapes to a smoothly mixed acidic cherry. Prices are good for the quality you receive. There ar... read more Great place with great food. The gypsy banitsa/bread is awesome. Pretty much everything we've eaten is very delicious and has somewhat authentic taste. There are also so many types of rakia, one can easily and unexpectedly get wasted. The atmosphere is quite unique lots of items and attributes from the communist years. Definitely recommended to visit. Have in mind though that it's often full, so consider calling to check for availability and to reserve a table.

Despite experiencing a nostalgic environment, the menu is full of typical Bulgarian dishes excellently prepared and the service is pretty attentive. Highly suggested for both tourists and locals. And if you enjoy Rakia, you can try hundreds of different bottles inside!
