The restaurant no longer offers any vegan options on the menu. When asked, the waiter was unaware of any vegan dishes. There are some vegetarian options available, such as grilled vegetables with or without goat cheese.
Besides the stunning views of the mountains and city, this restaurant offers a wide selection of cocktails and a few delicious vegan dishes. We had the opportunity to try all the vegan options except for the eggplant dish and were very pleased with the quality of the food. The service was quick, allowing us to enjoy our meal without any long waits. The cauliflower steak stood out as a favorite, with its juicy texture and delicious sauce. The spelt noodles and sautéed veggies were also flavorful and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options. The rooftop terrace provides a lovely setting for enjoying cocktails and a relaxing evening. Prices are reasonable and on the lower end considering the quality of the food. It is rare to find a restaurant with a dedicated vegan menu in Bulgaria, so this place is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself outside of the city center. It's a good idea to call ahead to reserve a table with a view.
The view from the balcony was amazing, but a few things detracted from our experience at this restaurant. We ordered 4 cocktails, none of which were adorned with the fruits mentioned on the menu (lacking decoration). As a former bartender, I know that adding a little garnish takes less than a minute per cocktail with a bit of effort. The Cuba Libre cocktail tasted terrible, possibly the worst I've ever had. The other cocktails were okay, I suppose. When we asked for the bill and paid in cash, the server kept the change without offering it back to us for a tip, which was over 10% of the total bill. After waiting 10 minutes, we had to request the change and the server returned without a receipt and incorrect change. We left without leaving a tip because we were unhappy with the service.
The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, especially on the terrace with its beautiful views. The food is average, and they offer a good selection of wine. Unfortunately, the service was subpar. Two young waiters were borderline rude and neglected to attend to us. The restaurant was not busy, yet it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. They also failed to clear our empty plates or empty the ashtrays. This lack of attention to customer service greatly impacted our overall experience, leading to a rating of only 1 star.
