The Chef manages to pull off decent vegetarian food that is wholesome and tasty as well as nailing the meat foodie who wanders in. In summer, main venue is the garden. Don’t be out off by the small sign on the road marking the entrance and then the narrow corridor to get to the back garden. Your view opens up to see the magnificent space under trees, greeted by the resident cat as you enjoy the surroundings. I had tarama caviar, followed by ribs. I had a small cucumber salad so that I can remain relatively healthy. Great service, frankly. All speak fluent English and I wasn’t waiting for anything. Just come to taste the food! Indeed a hidden diamond. So, me being a pink Floyd fan, I asked why it was called crazy diamond. Response was due to song but hey didn’t know why (seems most people under 40 had never heard of pink Floyd!! the music playing doesn’t play and PF so here’s hoping this changes.

I went with friends, we were barely served, the waiter was very slow and forgot our order. The menu was not varied at all, the main presence was the egg. Toast with egg, lunch with egg, and many more things were repeated. The only vegan dish was a soup with sundried tomatoes, olives and chickpeas. Realistically it was canned goods, nothing special and cost 13 BGN. I don't want a place like this in the centre of Sofia with such a weak menu and high prices. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I first made an attempt to enjoy their beautiful garden my first night in Sofia but was quickly discouraged by the smelly smokers. So i made a reservation and sat inside the second night. The restaurant was everything I was hoping it would be! The menu options for a pescatarian like me were fantastic. The food presentation, service and environment were superb. Strong recommend!

Fresh, tasty and well presented food that together with the homemade selection of drinks will complete a nice meal. Very recommended if you are on the area and if it’s summer, you have a garden that you will be able to enjoy as well. Keep up the good work!
