Contribute FeedbackI ate here last night. The meal was fabulous and I can't wait to eat here again. Best for us it is dog friendly. We went in and they immediately brought our dogs a bowl of water. The service was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The place is very traditional German and has a beautiful atmosphere.
Although faced with a large group of people without prior notice, they did a good job in preparing a very decent meal for all of us with a friendly service.
Look at my review for The Onion. Aloisius is directly opposite the road, owned by the same people and serves basically the same food. Traditional, calorie-rich, extremely tasty food, which is tastefully presented on large plates by friendly servers. You'll never be hungry there. They brew their own beer and it's good. I've eaten there a lot and I know the place well.
Take a look at my review for Die Zwiebel. Aloisius is right across the street, owned by the same people and serves basically the same food. Traditional, calorie-rich, extremely tasty food that is presented tastefully on large plates by friendly servers. You will never go hungry there. They brew their own beer - and it is good. I have eaten there many times and I know the place well.
We love this place and according to the many other guests and the recent expansion, so do the locals. Simple rich food (schnitzels), tasty beer, loveley desserts. You can't go wrong.
