I ate here last night. The meal was fabulous and I can't wait to eat here again. Best for us it is dog friendly. We went in and they immediately brought our dogs a bowl of water. The service was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The place is very traditional German and has a beautiful atmosphere.
Although faced with a large group of people without prior notice, they did a good job in preparing a very decent meal for all of us with a friendly service.
Look at my review for The Onion. Aloisius is directly opposite the road, owned by the same people and serves basically the same food. Traditional, calorie-rich, extremely tasty food, which is tastefully presented on large plates by friendly servers. You'll never be hungry there. They brew their own beer and it's good. I've eaten there a lot and I know the place well.
We love this place and after the many other guests and the recent expansion, so do the locals. Simply rich food (scarving), delicious beer, sweet desserts. You can't go wrong.
The food was very delicious and the staff was also very friendly. I'm sorry if you have a limited time window to eat. It was very close to 90 min), would like to have Dessert ordered, but that didn't go because the other people came 10 min later. I would have found it better if you had more room at the table. We were six people, four of them sat on the bench and two on chairs. We couldn't use the 3 chair, there were people from the neighborhood again. It would be better for the customer to dispense with 2-3 tables so that the customer can also feel comfortable and eat relaxed. But then, of course, the other places lack the money in the cash register as they were not forgiven.
